Easy hike leaving from the Palomar Mountain State Park Campground. The hike wonders through meadows as well as patches of oak and pine. Trail offers a connection the Wier Trail and to the Doane nature trail.
From I-15 take the HWY 76 exit and travel east until you turn left on county hwy S6, heading north. Follow the winding road up the mountain until the intersection with S7. Follow S7 into the state park and follow the signs to the campground.
